The short version

I sit at the join between technology, operations and the business — the place where strategy either becomes real or quietly stalls.

Over ten years at Tillo I've held the CTO, COO and CIO seats in turn, as the business and my responsibilities grew from early seed stage through venture and private equity backing. That range is deliberate: the hardest problems in a growing company rarely respect the org chart, and the leaders who move the needle are the ones fluent in engineering, operations and commercial reality at once — including what investors need from a board update, a funding round, or a diligence process.

I care about building teams that ship, systems that scale, and decisions that hold up under pressure. Increasingly I'm thinking and writing about how AI reshapes leadership itself — not the tooling, but the judgement, accountability and pace it demands of the people at the top.

Away from the desk you'll find me on the water as Vice-Commodore of Sailing at CMYC, or comparing notes with fellow leaders at Brighton CTO.
